Yes, the finance major was called to be an author in her thirties.

In 2014, I founded Sweet Water Decor in my basement, while working in the corporate world. Nine months later, I ran it full time. Fast forward 6 years later, and I was called to be a Christian author as well. I'm your typical multi-passionate entrepreneur who has just been living out her callings in life, all while being a wife & mom.

What I'm 

loving

I've always loved home decor, design, a good Chai latte, laughing with my kids, date nights with my husband, listening to the same song over and over, and my new found love of red light therapy.

What I'm 

learning

Over my life I've learned to lean into where God has called me and say "yes!" to those callings. They have lead me to start my business 12 years ago & write devotionals. I'm using my testimony to share Jesus with you.

not about

In my devotionals, I try not to make things complicated or too hard to understand. They are written to be bite-sized & filled with takeaways. I wrote them for women that need little snippets of encouragement during their busy days.

what I

believe

Everything happens for a reason (Jeremiah 29:11) and that God is always with us. I believe that light can be found, and to trust in His plan, over our own.
